Proclamation: The first full RGC Session since COVID-19 was held on February 23-25, 2023 at the Masonic Temple; the home of the Prince Hall Grand Lodge and Royal Grand Chapter. There were approximately 380 persons in attendance. We had the worthy matron or her representative and guests from Texas, Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee, Maryland, Oklahoma, and Mississippi. The fellowship was great, the meeting was informative and pleasant, and the events well attended.
Appreciation goes out to everyone that worked tirelessly beginning in September 2022 to make the February 2023 session a success.

In 2005, Cleveland K. Wilson, the 19th Grand Master, proposed the purchasing of the new Masonic Temple. The building was dedicated on 9/27/2007. During the Grand Session on February 24th, it was a day of celebration. We conducted our, "Mortgage Burning Celebration." We give all the honor to God whereas, "This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.” Psalm 118:23

Sometimes you will never know the true value of A Moment like this until it becomes a Memory.

IT WAS VERY COMFORTING to receive from the membership all sorts of deeds after the sudden and unexpected death of my younger sister. Although we know we live and then die, there is never the right preparation and thus death never goes un-mourned. You made it easier to cope with the death, services, and the aftermath.

Thank You,

Flora J. Simon

Proclamation: First, let me extend my sincere hope that this newsletter finds you, your family, and friends safe and in good health during this trying time. If you or a family member have been subjected to the Virus, I hope you are recovering well.

There are still far too many of persons still refusing to take any precautions to stay safe. I tell others to take precautions by wearing a mask, washing their hands, and staying 6 feet away to protect me, since they seem to think they are immune to the virus. WE must continue to encourage the young, middle aged, and elderly to follow the safety rules.
Remember: SUCCESS IS ALMOST ALWAYS PRECEDED BY ADVERSITY!!
