Johnny H. Carolina

Johnny H. Carolina was born February 23, 1967 in Morrilton, Arkansas. His parents are Johnnie F. and Norma Carolina and he is the second of three children to this union.  His sister, Patricia (Carolina) Camberlin, the oldest child is deceased and he has a younger brother, Spencer Carolina.  Brother Carolina is married to the lovely Sister Letitia Carolina, which is also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Eliza Murphy #395.  He is the father of two children, Qushona and Ryan Carolina and has three grandchildren, Jeremiah, Janiece, and Keenan.

In 1985, Brother Carolina graduated from Morrilton High School and later graduated from Petit Jean Vo-Tech in 1987, now University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton, where he studied construction.

Brother Carolina is a member of Greater Union Hill Baptist Church. He was the Youth Director for six years, taught the Adult Men Class for five years, the Adult Women Class thirteen years, and the Young Adult Class for four years.  Currently, he holds the position of Vice-President of the Baptist Usher Union.

GWP Carolina Masonic affiliation began in 2000. He's a member of Silver Trowel Lodge #9, where he served as Junior Warden, Senior Warden, and then became Worshipful Master for four years.  He served as Worthy Patron for Morrilton Star/ Lilly of the Valley Star Chapter #16 for nine years. He is a Past Master and Past Patron. Other Masonic involvement includes a member of Holy Royal Arch “Triple Tau #11” and J.L.H. Smith Consistory No. 76, 33 Degree Mason. He had a brief tenure as the Grand Sentinel and Grand Associate Patron prior to being appointed as the Grand Worthy Patron after the 2013 Grand Session.

For the past twenty plus years, GWP Carolina has been a self-employed contractor. During his leisure time, he enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, playing sports, coaching softball, working with the Boy Scouts, and camping.
